Golden Age Girls – 2019 Melbourne Fringe Festival Season

19 September - 22 September

$20 - $34
Winners of “2019 WA Fringe World Cabaret Award” and “2018 Julie Michael Cabaret Award”

Ruth and Irene were born in the wrong era. Despite their modern upbringing, they crave the glamorous life that accompanied the Golden Age of Music Theatre. To realise their true calling they must become the most booked performer for the over 55’s community – but there’s only room for one star soprano at the Women’s Rotary Bowling Country Club. How far will they take their duel to become the diva they always dreamt they’d be?

Join WAAPA Music Theatre graduates Amy Fortnum, Jess Clancy and Mav Newman in their 2019 WA Fringe World Award winning cabaret full of tap dancing, hilarious drama and the beautiful hits from the Golden Age of music theatre.
