Following two acclaimed seasons, Dog Rose Theatre Company present Find the Fire Dogs - a new theatrical work exploring desire for escapism, human connection, and seeking what you’ve lost.

After being arrested for a violent crime, a lost and angry Sam is collected from lock up by his estranged childhood friend, Jesse. Discontent, Jesse drifts between his rocky home life, sessions with his jaded therapist, and hectic parties. Sam avoids contact with his mother, Evelyn, and works a dead end kitchen job with his partner, Joy.

With pressures mounting, the two decide to flee from their lives in search of a key to Jesse’s past.

Back home, their friends and family are left in the wake of their actions. Joy must choose between finding Sam or securing her future. Their friend, Paige, reckons with her decision to leave her life behind for a chance at her dream. Evelyn receives a visit that pulls her back into the whirlwind of her son’s life.

As they flee further from their lives and towards their pasts, Sam and Jesse must embrace change, or lose themselves in their search for home.
