THE CAN PRINCIPLE - 2026 MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL COMEDY FESTIVAL

The CAN Principle by Jonny Pasvolsky .

Every modern guru has an origin story and Mervin Gimplik is about to impose his barely believable one on you.

Self-proclaimed guru, Merv, is bringing his ‘game-changing’; life philosophy to the world with one big promise: The Sun! Yes, Mervin is promising the sun itself and he’s almost a hundred percent certain he can deliver it - one ‘CAN’ at a time!

This parody of modern gurus - written and performed by Jonny Pasvolsky - is a one-man comedy about what it takes to re-invent yourself, in the face of failure and the self-proclaimed ‘experts’; lining up to take your money for nothing.

*Contains some coarse language. Suitable for ages 15+.
