For generations, the village of Wangyu has worshipped a Sacred Fish.

Legend has it that whoever possesses the fish will awaken to a higher state of consciousness and see their deepest wish fulfilled.

For ten years, Wang Wufu has devoted his life to guarding it.

Until one day, three strangers arrive.

Shi Yishou dreams of writing poetry that will live for generations.

Qian Yidai longs for limitless wealth.

Tu Yidao wants only one thing: a child to carry on his family name.

Each believes the Sacred Fish can grant the desire that has defined their life.

As for Wang Wufu, he has just one wish: to leave behind the lonely duty of guarding the fish.

When everyone believes their dream is finally within reach, a dangerous game of desire, promises, and trust begins.

Does the Sacred Fish truly possess supernatural power? Or is the greatest force of all the desire within the human heart?

This play is performed in Mandarin with English subtitles.
